Wood and concrete are in perfect harmony in the Momotoko premises due for completion in spring 2017. The primary idea behind the design is the restaurant’s food and food culture.
A new Momotoko restaurant is due to open in Iso Omena in Espoo in April 2017. The new restaurant will span 150 square metres and seat 50 customers.
Momotoko’s owner wanted the space to have a street food feel with a Scandinavian touch. The material choices for the space support both aspects. The wood gives the desired Scandinavian touch and the concrete brings a rough street food feel. The furniture’s graphic shapes bring a modern and stylish feel to the space.
